Organizer: Institute of Nutritional Sciences of the Faculty for Biology and Pharmaceutics of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Institute of Animal Nutrition of the Federal Agricultural Research Centre (FAL) Braunschweig

The symposium included 6 plenary lectures, 40 short papers and 59 posters. More than 200 scientists, practitioners, and interested persons from 30 countries participated on this meeting.

Topics

Bioavailability and biochemistry of vitamins and their interactions with major- and micro-elements
Additives in foodstuffs, their efficacy and aspects related to human health
Application and efficacy of feed additives and aspects concerning the problems of their residues in the environment.

The proceedings will be available in November/December 2003 (price for non-participants EUR 25).

Deadlines for authors:
Manuscripts (plenary papers 10 pages, short papers 6 pages, posters 4 pages)
should be submitted as hard copy and in an electronic version until October 10, 2003 - layout see PDF-file [9 KB]
