The Institute of Nutritional Sciences of the Faculty for Biology and Pharmaceutics of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Institute of Animal Nutrition of the Federal Agricultural Research Centre (FAL) Braunschweig organised the 10th Symposium from September 28 to 29, 2005 on the topic
"Vitamins and Additives in the Nutrition of Man and Animal"
The symposium included 8 invited papers, 30 short papers and 61 posters to the topics:
- Bioavailability and
biochemistry of vitamins and their interactions with macro and micro elements
- Additives in foodstuffs, their efficacy and aspects related to human health
- Application and efficacy of feed additives and aspects concerning safety
for men, animals and environment.
