Teaching
Current challenges in Teaching Psychology involve the transition from a 5-year Diploma course towards a 3-year BSc course followed by a 2-year MSc course. This transition has been implemented in Jena from 2007-08, and is almost complete by 2011. In our Department, all advanced courses for MSc students can be held in English from that time when requested. In courses for years 3-5 students, we particularly promote a close link between teaching and research where possible.
