We are very pleased to announce that

Friederike Feuchte

was awarded the

Gert Sommer Award of Peace Psychology 2011

for her thesis on ""Can we make a difference tomorrow? Evaluation of the Peace Education Programme in a Liberian refugee camp in Ghana".

Friederike did her doctorate as a fellow of the International Graduate College in Jena from January 2007 to December 2009.

The International Graduate College (IGC) was regularly funded by the German Research Foundation from June 2001 to December 2009. With this the maximal period of feasible sponsorship by the German Research Foundation is expired.

Currently, the IGC is in the phase-out funding, granted by the German Research Foundation in order to enable the staying fellows to complete their doctorates.
